Love and Logic
I have read the book Jane Knight recommended for our rules and consequences called "Love and Logic." It is WONDERFUL!!! Ashley you will love it :) Jane said most Leader in Me schools use Love and Logic as well. However, the book recommends not pressuring the staff into this approach. Palmer also has read the book and loves it! Please try and read it so we can get together and see how we can implement it next year. The book is called "Creating Classrooms Where Teachers Love to Teach" and "Teaching with Love and Logic". You may borrow mine if needed.

Yes! I agree with everything Amanda said in her comments. The books are great. The author gives a practical approach to implementing and applying the strategies. Maybe after our training next week we can think about the best approach for VES. I have loaned one of my books to Katherine Alexander and shared a little with the fifth grade team this week and they seemed to really be interested in trying it. It's interesting how everything we read gets us a little closer to moving in the right direction. Might we be experiencing some Divine Intervention!
