Being Proactive!
Hey Gang! I am not sure how easy this will be for us, but we can give it a try. Here is our blog page. Let's post ideas for the beginning of the year and brainstorm our ideas here. Maybe this will help keep us organized for the beginning of the year. Each idea/topic you have, make a new post and we can brainstorm it on one thread. Hope this makes sense and is an easy fun way to communicate!!

Okay, so you are one step ahead of me. I just tried to create us a blog in epals. I was just waiting for their reply.
ReplyDeleteThank you for getting it going. I am so excited about all of this!
ReplyDeleteI think I am the only one who can create a new post because it is under my sign in name, so let me know when you have a new topic for me to post.
ReplyDeleteI was not sure which thread to place this under. I have been thinking about all of our nightly events for parents. I was wondering what you all think about combining literacy and math night into one night and add the other subject areas as well. We could have a curriculum night and really do it well. We could do a sort of rotation or have sessions similar to the way workshops are setup for us. We could show off student work as well as provide tips/activities for at home support in all content areas. Just a thought on the topic of reducing our "traditions" to make them better.
ReplyDeleteSo, International Walk to School Day is October 7th. There are several suggestions on how to do it, but I think the parade format will best fit our community. It says to determine our focus which I think should be Sharpening the Saw and tie it back in to our PE and recess. Do we have a mascot at the high school that could join us that day? Maybe even the pep band?
