What is our overall goal? We need to have the end in mind. What all do we want to accomplish and in what time frames. This can be broad to specific. This one is very important and we need to get this one down perfectly before we present.
After today, my goal is to be a lighthouse school, or lamppost school, or whatever Jane called it. WE CAN DO IT; I am setting my goal high. I want to be the school that people come to visit. I want our kids to be on the next video that Steven Covey produces. I want us to shine.
Of course another overall goal is for higher test scores and decrease in discipline problems.
I think a first semester goal would be for students to become familiar with the common language... and to begin using it in their vocabulary. Also, the expectations on shaking our hands, eye contact, and saying yes sir/mam...
